I've been blogging for over 3 years now, and have posted over 300 posts. It's been a journey. One I've enjoyed, most of the time. I have definitely learned a lot along the way. My little blog has come quite a ways as I've tried new things and taught myself how to do web related things I never thought I could do.
I haven't done this alone though. there are a few trend setting bloggers I follow, that have offered help along the way. One is Danni of Oh, Hello Friend. She kindly answered my email and questions about where to connect with other bloggers. She suggested the Alt Summit (Altitude Design Summit) last year. I so badly wanted to attend, but with a newborn, I just couldn't see how I could make it work. Now another year has rolled around, and I really wanted to make the trip to SLC for 2013's Alt Summit. But, sadly the tickets sold out before I could even grab my wallet.
My only consolation is that the Alt Blog is a fantastic resource for creative bloggers. I've been reading it and using their tips and tools faithfully all year. Some of my favorite blogs and bloggers where introduced to me on the Alt Blog. And I have enrolled in a few of their online classes - The Alt Channel. Next week I am taking the Tough Love class, and it's a freebie thanks for Bing.
Some of recent posts that I've found really helpful are:
Setting and Styling a DIY Project
The Importance of Business Card Design
How to Create a Great DIY Post
and the Friday Links are a must read each week and are a great place to find tips, inspiration, and so much more.
For blogging inspiration and business advice check out the new Alt blog. I know you'll find it help.

They have pretty amazing offerings on there - especially the video tutorials and mini-classes you can sign up for. I'm glad that you have gotten more involved, it sounds like they're really helping!! I bookmarked a few of their sessions, but haven't made it around to really digging in. No wonder you are so smart ;)
