4th of July Star Garland

Happy 4th friends!  I'm enjoying the 4th here in New Mexico.  I'm touring the Carlsbad Caverns - what's more patriotic then visiting a National Park on the 4th?


I have the always clever blog, eighteen25 to thank for this cute star garland idea.  I cut out a bunch of stars in a variety of red, white, and blue papers.  Then I simply sewed them together with my sewing machine.  I guess my Canada Day Bunting has to come down to make room for this star garland.  


How are you celebrating the 4th?  I hope it involves fire works and some great food.

    Have whipped up patriotic oreos (think oreos dipped in white chocolate covered in funfetti) for the day... Im not American but lots of my expat friends are... so thought Id jump on the bandwagon!
